DESCRIPTION:For registration\, please click here. // Download the full programme here. \n\nProgramme excerpt from agriprofocus.com \nMonday November 16 in National Theater Addis Ababa: \n\n2-4 pm official launch of the SOIL WEEK with speeches\, film\, discussions with particpants\n4-6 pm networking and market: various activities; registration for the workshops\, demonstration\, events  and other activities on November 17\,18 and 19\n6-8 pm special cultural event  for the greater public about soil\, with famous artists\, songs\, poems\, etc\n\nTuesday November 17 at Hope College of Technology; buses will bring you for free\, departing from 11 sub-cities \n\nMorning and afternoon workshops for soil professionals\, teachers\, extension agents\, and anyone who is interested in soil health managament\, the working of biochar\, vermi-compost\, fertiliser blending\, nutrient management\, conservation agriculture and so on.\n\nPlease note our session on Conservation agriculture\, push and pull Role of soils in the new Sustainable Development Goals\, CRGE and climate smart agriculture.\n\n\n\nWednesday November 18 in Zeway\, Debre zeit and Holeta \n\nDemonstrations about good soil health management in Zeway (FGI\, Hoarec\,soil & More projects)\, Debre Zeit and Holeta ( research institute in collaboration with ISD and others. Farmers from the area and other professionals are invited. To each location one bus will be avallable for Addis Ababa residents. Join in time!\n\nThursday November 19 \n\nMorning: also for students and teachers! Visit a location of your choice in Addis Ababa and see/ experience what you always wanted to know:  soil mapping. fertiliser blending\,  soil lab\, vermi-composting (with worms)\, urban waste composting\, a new hoe\, why lime is important\, biochar\, EMetc etc\nAfternoon: a wrap up with discussions about the hottest topics of this week\, which we will hand over to the regions to further elaborate upon.\n\n
