Organised by the European Commission\, the forum brings the development community together each year to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. \n\n\n\n\n\nTo get to the official session page\, please click on the featured image. \n\nAbout the Session \nBridging the gap between local realities and the level of ambition enshrined in the SDGs requires\ncontinuous societal learning processes. These need to be organized in a way that takes the interests\nand views of the poorest and most vulnerable into account. Inclusive\, participatory and transparent\nfollow-up and review mechanisms of the 2030 Agenda are key to achieve this. Inequalties often\nmanifest in lack of access to natural resources. Overcoming disempowerment of those most vulnerable\nrequires them having a say in the governance and management of natural resources. The kind of data\nwe collect through follow-up and review mechanisms and the way we collect it can open up ways for\nthe poorest and most vulnerable to hold Governments accountable. \n\nOrganized by \n \n
