4.9 Open-Space Session – Where are spatial planning approaches in the current soil debate? Experiences, Challenges, Integration points

The initiative for this Open Session arose as a consequence of on-going debates and statements during the plenaries and sessions of the Global Soil Week 2015. The repeated call for integrated approaches to tackle multiple challenges inherently related to soils, such as soil conservation, food security, climate change adaptation, land rehabilitation and biodiversity and the need for inter-sectoral integration grabbed our attention.
